Hey all,
Has anyone heard a peep from the SMCC club for southland series race dates. Havent heard any news and could desperately use the track time to help sort out the new bike. Heard they canned winter series dates but have they canned racing down that way all together???
Cheers

I believe the second round of the SI Cup is on down there on the 25th of September (yep that is a Saturday). Other than that I havn't heard of any thing.
You could always head up to Chch for the endurance race which is on this weekend? - 55mins + one lap

If any one finds out what the dates are can they add them to the race calendar at www.trackspot.co.nz (http://www.trackspot.co.nz)
The site was implemented to try and get around this type of confusion.

On the teretonga website the track is hired out by smcc for the 25th sept. There is a club meeting on the 7th at 7pm at the club rooms. Hopefully more will be known after that.

we have been told up here in ChCh that the SI Cup rd2 is on the 25th (sat) Would be good to have that confirmed by Mr Smart or whoever is in charge.......... prefer the sat to the sun personally

The problem being that Mr Smart isn't in charge now, he resigned his position.
Not sure who is in charge now.

I will be there with bells on, although thermal bells maybe better!
No snow, but it will be wet and windy.

After seeing the really big arrows on the weather forecast tonight (read: proper southland wind!) I have decided that a sleep in and golf is the better option :niceone:
