I use PBT transport as well as Fastways and Poste Haste, however unless you have an account the costs will be high. As the weight per item is high most couriers restrict parcels to either 10 or 15kg, I'd try PBT and see how you go.

For that size I'd use someone like Mainfreight if you don't have an account with a transport company (or know someone who does), just make sure it's packed well with plenty of padding if it's semi fragile and if it can be crushed mark as 'top stow only'
Make sure whoever you use has branches in or near Whakatane & Masterton, as things often go awry if the chosen company uses a sub-contractor at one end...
If it is urgent then PBT will be a bit quicker, but PBT couriers may not accept the goods if the boxes are too heavy/large and will refer you to PBT Transport.

Yep, I second Toll Tranzlink. We use them at work.

Most couriers have a weight per item limit of 25kg. Mainly so they know that pretty much all their drivers can carry and move each item etc.
So PBT Couriers may not accept the freight, but their freight arm might.

Agreed - although I just refer to them as Railways :D.
Had to send some boxes to Auckland and found Toll were 1/4 of the price of anyone else. Very good to deal with especially if you just stipulate depot to depot.
