We're taking our boy down on Saturday to practice for the mini nationals - never been before so keen to check it out.

Take note guys, the big track is shortened on Saturday to accomodate the lengthened national mini-track.

i went to round 4 when the track was run the normal or natural way not reversed. prety quick hardpack lots of rocks (built on /near a quarry) so wear good chest protector unless you holeshot and check out lol

i liked the track a lot of step ups and step downs and a really nice double downhill in the niddle of the track

btw Fells Farm MX is on the same day Sunday the 5th

yep i saw sth waikato club day at tokoroa same day on the 5th.. plenty of racing to choose from :Punk:

yea they run slater reversed and there are a few tabletops but nuthin realy that big its all 30-40ft stuff. ive never done it when its run reversed but my mate dave reckoned he enjoyed it better run that way? Fells is natural rolling terrain with quite a wide GP flow to it can be fun passing people in the sweepers etc Ken has put some tabletops and berms in sections but for the most part its natural.

Spent Saturday at Slater Park - boy loved this track. Really muddy first thing but it dried out pretty fast and well:yes: keen to go down there more often
