Good Call tho, I have done it already, noticed tho that it only relates to Cars registered to you, i.e I cant opt out in my company car........my main driver.

Cant fucking believe that the Wankerment assume we want to opt in , in the first place.

Stoopid crazy crap, I really dont understand what this is about

Yep. But I can't be bothered finding it and reading through the whole thing.
My question is...
Once you do the opt-out thing, is that request carried against your licence, or the vehicle in your name? ie get a new vehicle and have to do it again?

I read this as "it appllies to the numberplate".

You have the option of adding more numberplates to opt out, so is specific to the plate rather than your licence.

That's what I thought as well, but -
I just did the exercise, and the system added my trailer to the list of vehicles without me doing it (forgot I have it) but it wouldn't accept one car because it is in dual name.

Interesting!

I had to add all of mine individually (didn't recognise any other vehicles automatically).
