A good-hearted businessman has replaced a 50cc motorcross bike stolen from a child suffering with cystic fibrosis.

Nine year old Charlie Trees of Stockton had his bike - described by his father as "his only pleasure in life " stolen. On hearing of the theft, local car dealer Darren Scott of Breeze Motor Company contact Charlie and offered to replace the bike - worth around £700 - free of charge.

Mr Scott said "I was disgusted when I heard about the theft and thought this was a good opportunity as a local businessman to give something back".

Well done Mr Scott - good to see there are still some big-hearted people out there."
