Well sort of , seen a article afair while back about if you brought a new TTX36 shock they where giving you a limited number of Ohlins watches with them . Love my watches 8 or more , so gave Rob Taylor a sound out about these watches & he did some inquiring & said that he should be able to get me one . Today was the day :Punk: went over & picked it up & had the usual perve at some sweet machines there & plenty of tasty Ohlins stuff . Cheers Robert 4 recomending that suspension literature , have read afew pages already & it is bloody excellent  Well picture time I quess is what ya want Enjoy . Will have to put my 3k Tag Heuer back in its box for a rest for awhile I think . :shifty:

Seriously, who still wears a wrist watch, and didn't the status symbol watch go out of style in the 90's?

This needs clarification so people arent knocking at my door enmasse and asking ''wheres my free watch?"
This was a special offer a year or so back attached to an extremely limited number of specially reworked shocks ( special parts on them ) that we only bought one of in.

Sad but true.

Nice watch too. You wearing it to work?

When I was in Switzerland looking at Tag Heuer watches there weren't any that appealed under $5000. So I left them there.

No you didn't. You bought this watch from Robert. Small difference in the spelling but big difference in the meaning.

You're welcome :)

Nah. You're incorrect again.

The correct repsponse would have been "No one likes a smart arse ya wanker"

Nice try though big fella, extremely diplomatic :D

That's just little similar to the line of thought I was following. He's good at his trade and now we want him to be good at spelling.

So is the expectation now that all KBers are to be some kind of renaissance man?

I feel a Tui ad coming on

" Renaissance "- revival of art & learning in Europe in the 14th-16th centuries !! Had to look that up on my Super Cellphone dictionary Ron . I see I'm going to have to have a cuppa with you at the Whitebait tea House this Sunday to ponder the finer things in life :sunny:

Oi you lot "who ate all the bloody whitebait" leave a couple for us mere mortals, now imagine if the Whanga river had whitebait, the trip to pub and fritter, good road,ah bliss.

Miss the odd trip to Mokau for fun,we did it many years ago(when the odd bear and driving happened)left Hawera about 5am after a few beers previous,we stopped drinking when running out of beer about 1am(pubs closed at 11ish)so had a graze of steak and eggs, talked shit drank coffee and still wide awake around 5am decided to goto Mokau.

Arrived in time for breaky of fritters and coffee, then thought wtf on holiday lets stay.

Nice watch!

I guessed the middle dial on the right side is the spring pre-load, and it has a rebound and compression damping buttons too!

One question. Did Rob have to re-spring / shim stack the watch to suit your timezone?

It was all calculated into my body weight , type of bike , location to the equator by the Ohlins Factory before it arrived ! Now have the Best handling bike & watch " HA fucken Ha "
