Just moved to Aucklands West coast, any tips on extra maintenance? it is under a cover and in a carport

Regular washing followed up with coating all metal surfaces with silicon spray or the like. (Except your brake rotors, duh).

A mate of mine sprayed silicone spray on the tires on his Hornet. He was left picking up the pieces in the first roundabout he went through.
