Saw the boys on top gear drive this road once, I was gob smacked as to how busy it was and also very impressed with New Zealands roads....we do live in a fantastic counrty.

Holey moley, have to say my heart was in my mouth when Clarkson's car had to squeeze past the other one around the outside, and while watching this footage my eyes were staring at the road immediately in front! hahahaha Talk about target fixation avoidance and I'm sitting in the comfort of my armchair!!!

Can't get over the nonchalant attitude of the locals all sitting on the edge of the precipice, and then the ones leaving their truck doors open oblivious to the bikes trying to pass. :shit:
