Has anyone in NZ fitted a larger fuel tank on the HD forty eight?

No but I do no the bigger sporty tank and the custom tank will fit as all the mounts are the same

Shops are advertising them and wellington m/c's has harley davidsons demo 48 on display look's nice.

Might have to wander down to WMCC's and take a look,About the same price as the XR1200 eh? tough choice though I think the XR would win it for me. looks cool.

Agree about the xr,but then again I own one.
