Last night about 9pm - watching the tube / surfing KB and the dog started barking. Wife went out to have a look (well I was busy with KB) and says there's someone out there. I go out and see no-one, but the car door is open and the glovebox has been emptied of CDs and stuff (nothing of any major value.
Anyway, got in the car and went round the block for a look, see some guy down by the railway station, he ducked down the alley way as I turned round for another look.
So I leave it at that, go back home. Meanwhile wife has picked up some stuff that was in the driveway, thinking its stuff out of the glovebox.
Get inside and have a look and its some guys CV! Name, address, phone numbers, the whole nine yards.
My daughter has a look on Facebook (she knows how to work it) and it looks like the guy I saw down the street, so she's sent him a message suggesting he can deliver the CDs back or the Police can come round and get them, up to him.
Should have also suggested that he's too stupid to take up crime as a good career choice.

Did the CV fellas car get broken into and amongst other things, his CV was stolen? As it had no value, it's been dumped... right next to the next car that was broken into?

There would be around 20 people in our street that would be appreciative of your efforts in reporting this gentleman (filthy scum sucking low life). He may not be linked to our events, but I for one bet he mixes in the same circles....

A few months ago some freak dumped a stolen bike & blitzed through our yard to jump the rear fence + we got woken up 3am by some shitstains trying our front & rear doors so i raced outside with my axe 'as you do' & found their shoes & sunnies (cos you need them at night eh).:shifty:

Regardless of your views on which crimes should result in which sentences, the last thing you want is a prison system like in the US. A privitised prison system has resulted in a very strong prison back 'sensible sentencing' lobby not for the social good, but because longer sentences means more business for those who build and run the prisons. The laws need to be objectively looked at by the lawmakers and judges, not by those who have a multi billion dollar business based around prisons.

I didn't (and still don't) have incontrovertible evidence that the person I saw was the owner of the material found near my car, or that the person whose picture I saw on facebook is the person I saw. For that reason I didn't go down the "name and shame" path. Police can deal with it, but I hold little hope they will.
