Yup, another qualifying round with Vale facking with Setes' mind, letting him think he was quicker than Vale for most of the weekend then jumping to No. 1.

1. Rossi 1m49.22
2. Gibernau 1m49.36
3. Biaggi 1m49.45
4. Hayden 1m49.54
5. Hopkins 1m49.55
6. Capirossi 1m49.63
7. Melandri 1m49.80
8. Checa 1m49.81
9. Nakano 1m49.85
10. Tamada 1m49.95

But where is Edwards I hear you say? 12th with a 1.50.17.

It's looking rather predictable as usual. Rossi is a freak.

I can say I'm happy with nakano -hope he gets a top 5 at least.

First 12 places covered by less than 1 second is pretty bloody amazing considering the different manufacturer philosophies and riders from 3 distinct global regions, all from different types of competition background.

Just goes to show, that even the "slowest" guy in MotoGP is an order of magnitude better than anyone on this site on the race track.

Eh? He's .6 of a second down on the world's best MotoGP rider on a bike that was slower than Kenny Roberts private manufacturer team entry, just 2 years ago.

That's a pretty bloody astonishing turn around.
