Parts wanted for 1989 Honda CBRr mc19

So i had a nasty Head on collision yesterday.. and i will need all new fairings, a new Exhaust, Indicators, rearview mirror, brake lever, Windscreen and assorted other things.... Where can i get all this stuff cheap?

Any information would be appreciated!

Im fine really! much better than i should be.. i hit oncoming cars haha and im still walking. Im just worried about my bike. thats all i worry about.. but thanks for your concern :)

Parts for these bikes often cost a kings' ransom, so unless the bike was mechanically very good with reasonably low kms before you binned it, you might be better off selling the bike off as parts and buying something else. I do have one of these bikes and I have been looking around for parts.

Mechanically the bike is great. there was no damage besides the fairings and other assorted parts

when peolple ask for help, and then go start 5 or more threads on the same thing before people have had a chance to respond to the first, yes.
your threads have been merged now anyways.
there are tonnes of your bike laying round in parts, have you even tried TM yet? oe Ebay? plenty of parts, easy to find. good luck

It wasn't 5 threads.. it was two.. anyways i have looked on Trademe But no too keen to import from Ebay. i only really need Fairings... The rest i can pick up for a few bucks but im having trouble finding fairings and exhaust hence the other Threads. I hit that guy up on TM about the exhaust so i will see....

by far and above the only realistic option is to order off ebay, around 500 for full plastic fairings posted to you, painted however your heart desires. Quality is not the orignal, but it is not bad and most people wont have a clue. That guy on trademe will charge you an arm and a leg for a damaged part, expect to pay out the arse if you go through him. Check out the forums at cbr250.com , the aussie guys might be able to help you out as they seem to be really skilled at sending their cibbies down the road, though they will tell you to go to ebay, many have done it with happy results, the only time their seems to be any complaints whatsoever is when trying to get them to match the fairings to your tank colour from pics, so always use the paint codes , which you will find on the cbr forum :)

Thanks guys, Yeah my Tank is dented in two areas and will prob need re-painting anyway... I will look on Ebay, thanks for that other trademe link, I think that may be the best option... Hows the quality? anyone traded with that member? Nay info on CBR mufflers? i dont thin i can just buy a muffler..i think i have to buy a whole exhaust..

Anyway around the import tax? Ill prob end up paying around 140 just in tax..

you can get a full exhaust system made, or your damaged one repaired from custom chambers in east tamiki.
