Yay! Sunshine!

Woke up this morning (cause I had to come to work) and low and behold... the sun was shining... Took me about 10 minutes to start my bike... flooded it twice (I was excited lol) and finally after 8 days I got to ride my bike.

Still all blocked up with the flu, not feeling 100% but that 11 minute ride to work sure cheered me up :)

Going to take my partner to a large car park so she can ride my bike around a little and get the feel of a 250 and not just a little FXR150.

Fingers crossed that she doesn't drop it

mmm went for a ride out to Beachlands, Maraetai and Clevedon, then twilight rd home this afternoon

But since I commute, and am loving riding, I don't care if its raining. Just have to go a little more slowly.

Riding in the country is completely different to commuting. But those really slow corners I need some more practice on...

The weather yesterday was great until about 2pm, then the wind picked up slightly and the drizzle/rain started on and off for the rest of the day.... wasn't too bad though...

Took my partner to Akoranga Campus car park and got her to do a few rounds of the car park on the ZXR... at first she was really nervous and not used to the "tucked" in feeling of sports bikes, and had a small issue with the quarter turn throttle... but after about the 3rd time round it was a mission getting her off the ZXR lol

She was trying to convince me to ride the FXR150 home so she could ride the ZXR lol Gotta give her points for trying lol

So she's keen as, dying for a 250 now that she knows they arn't that scary...

The weather looks to be picking up this week... might be able to go for a decent ride this weekend :)

thats clever thinking... it's meant to hold out until Sunday and then turn to crap again... which is just my luck seeing as I might be doing my Restricted next week and I'm taking time off next week due to relatives coming over from Aussie...
