Brilliant! Great riding on an inappropriate set-up making for good entertainment. During one particular stoppie, it would have been hilarious if when the topbox lid flapped open he left a trail of dirty undies on the track!

How do you come to the conclussion he has a mental age of 14?
All I see is an extremely talented rider making a you tube clip that grabs peoples attention, thus doing exactly what an ad should do.MHO

Geez dude lighten up. A track is the perfect place to do things like that.
If you think that people having fun and enjoying pushing things to the limit in a safe controlled condition is juvenile you must be a very boring old man.
The ad is selling how tough the equipment is.

That the luggage will take just about anything you can throw at it, and more than a few things the average rider can't?

Pfeiffer's cousin?
If he can do that on a GS.... then... wow.

What a squid! Jeans, open face helmet, ankle boots, it's riders like him that give us all a bad name.
Oh wait a minute, sorry, he's not on a sportsbike. That was awesome.

Well, I honestly don't know how other luggage would have compared under the same treatment but what I saw was the luggage appeared to be empty yet the topbox lid failed so was flapping pretty early on and in the end the side box was lid was flapping too. Nothing some duct tape and/or bungees couldn't fix I'm sure.
The bike on the other had went really well.:niceone:
ps that's the same video as in post#1
A quote from the youtube channel owner...
"the rear bag was scraped 1 to many times in a wheelie. This ground down the lock and broke it, not the jumps. So unless you do 12 oclock wheelies on your daily drive to starbucks, i think you will be ok! "

Not sure if you're serious with the first line or not.
Further investigation turns out he's in Shift Torque Jeans (http://shop.shiftracing.com/ecomm/ProductForward.do?forward=product.pagedef&proId=21522&cid=258&cname=Pants&proNumber=70136&imgName=70136202F.jpg) and Shift Fuel Street Shoes (http://shop.shiftracing.com/ecomm/ProductForward.do?forward=product.pagedef&proId=14295&cid=395&cname=Footwear&proNumber=57070&imgName=57070008F.jpg) among the rest of the kit, jacket/gloves so he is in fact in full riding gear, though I'd like more protection but then I guess he knows his stuff a lot better than I.
As for the open face helmet, well I guess at least he has a helmet, I like mine full faced, but he does his stuff in the appropriate places such as on tracks and closed roads which is more than can be said for a lot of us.

Hmmmm, I wonder if the lock would be replaced under warranty & the loss of pies & undercracks reimbursed?

Well I have to say that was incredibly awesome. Shit those stoppies were ... well.. incredible - reminded me of a jet fighter coming to land on an air craft carrier somehow.
Yep sold the gear to me - they took some good hits - i'm pretty shallow tho.
Just watched it again & loved it even more the 2nd time thru. i'm pretty impressed with that camera still going after bouncing down the road.
