For a few days now, I've had a guest at my place. A KB'r from the shakey city ... taking a break from things. A little short of sleep and Alexandra seemed like a quiet enough place to rest.
After a few days to recoup lost energy and sleep ... she decided to use some of her energy ....
rearranging my home ...
the whole place :devil2: ...
 ... Now I cant find any thing ...
A while back I promised her my old XJ750 ...
for nothing ... (It wouldn't fit in the wheeley bin)
so ... while the energy levels were still high, she decided to take the bike apart ...
to take home ...
in her car.
She did have help ... (not me) ...
Pic's of progress ...

Yeah, the bike is now packed in the car, have to say it was some job (I took the photos) whilst a couple of good people loaded it up under the expert eye of minxi me (my daughter)
Will update the progress as and when I get round to it! :niceone:

Cheers! The car is a 7 seater Honda Odyssey, I knew it would come in handy for something other than carting MinxiMe about!

Looks like a good project you've got on your hands there, so which will be ready first, the bike or the licence to ride it?
If you need a hand I could probably lend my limited skills to help out....

Sweepstake time!!:wings:
I don't know much about shaftys, but I have done some playing with a yamaha inline 4 so might be of some use.
To assist in the reassembly task, you can go to the Yamaha Motor website (http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/parts/home.aspx), hit the proceed to catalog button and look at the parts list/assembly diagrams, mighty handy for figuring which bolt is supposed to go where.

Have been working on the old girl today, man it was fun, although some nuts were very reluctant to come out! There is still one that has me defeated, but only till tomorrow! I have a cunning plan (don't know what it is yet)
I have taken photos but will post up later when I've done things to them and I'm not being hounded my Mini-Me
And yes you are right FJ, that Barbie movie is rather good! :bleh:

I've done a few rebuilds on various bike's over the years ...
and a few "left-over" bolts/nuts/washers seems the norm ...   :innocent:
