Hey guys bit of an odd question, Im looking at buying at an rm125. This thing feels very large for a 125, so i have my suspicions its actually a 250 frame with a 125 motor in it. Is there anyway to tell from the serial number or anything what motor this bike would have originally come with?? as if it was a 250 id like to chuck that motor back in it. Ive done my time on the 125s but the price is right

the 125 chassis and 250 chassis are the same height, Rm125 were always one of the taller 125 on the market

Yeah the things abit of a beast for a 125. Do you know if they run the same frame? e.g would I be able to chuck a 250 motor in it using the same engine mounts etc??

no, the bottom frame rails are totally different, it would be a big chunk of enginnering to change the motors,
