For sale, brand new unopened original "Loobman chain oiler", I have a few to sell.

Direct from the UK they provide a much cheaper and competitive alternative to the expensive Scott oiler costing 6x as much ($250 for a normal unit). Also you don't have to used specific oils; you can use used motor oil however I prefer chainsaw bar oil (nice and cheap and works well).

After you get the hang of how much oil to squeeze in these really are great. It is much quicker and easier then using spray and is a must have if you don't have a center or paddock stand. On top of that, a chain oiler will provide much better chain life then regular spray.

Single replacement parts availible for the cost of postage from the UK!

Can sell over PMs although prefer to do so through Trademe as I'm trying to get feedback for a new business.

This week (until the 30th) quote your KB username after buying and get free shipping ($40 delivered via fast post).

Feel free to ask questions.

EDIT: "The system uses gravity feed. You charge the Loobman system by gently squeezing the bottle for about three seconds (at a standstill of course) then ride away. As you ride, the oil will run down the delivery tube into the D.S.D. head and out onto the sprocket from where centrifugal force will throw it onto all essential parts of your chain and o-rings."

I've got one on the SV and they work a treat. 23,000kms and sprockets and chain still look great.

Do you know if they fit single sided swing arm jobbies? - especially a speed triple. The swing arm is so fat, I'm not sure I'd have the room to fit the sprocket feeder somewhere and ziptie around the swingarm.... hmmmm.....

Definitely possible, there's one on a Honda Bros on their website and I got one on my NC30.

What do you mean by "how much to squeeze on"?

Do these not feed automatically??

Akin to a black hole, the loobman is a gravity fed system.

The feed tube comes out the top of the bottle. You squeeze the bottle and the oil makes it way down the tube over the course of about 5 minutes, to both sides of the feeder on either side of the rear sprocket. the oil flings onto the links coating the rings on both sides. Quite simple but seems effective. I use chain bar oil in mine to minimise fling off.

Hi, is there a picture anywhere of the complete unit fitted to a bike. I assume I would give it a sqeeze every so often as I'd think it needed it?
