Are you wanting a bunch of undesireable bikers to "lower the tone" of the place and ruin the auction? :shit: or are you being friendly lol?

Friendly of course lol

Then its not your house.

um no its my home, somewhere I expected to live for a lot longer than 6 months... I have owned rentals, and homes for 20 years, and I would never ditch good tenants after 4 months... its unethical

Thankyou, yes it is my home!

no it doesnt she has the opportunity to make it HER house

And how would I do that Jim0? I have in the past owned my own home, but I rent for reasons I shall not mention now... positive!

:)

if the owner wants to sell but you dont want to buy, see if the new owner wants a tennant if they dont your out.......one of the downsides of renting

No more then if you had holed up in a motel room for 4 months, Its not yours, someone else just let you stay there temporarily in return for some cash.

I could rent you my shoes for a week, they would still be my shoes.

...As is your choice. Perhaps the house owner has reasons to sell that is their own business - not yours.

Your situation sucks, but the house owner has no responsibility, legal or moral, to build their life around your misguided sense of entitlement.

Time to suck it up and move on - or buy the house yourself.

Hopefully someone will buy it as a rental and you can stay - my parents have 2 places they rent out and they never seem to get decent tenants that pay their rent!

Not knowing the full story I'd be looking for somehwere new now, like looking for work, it's always seems easier when you have one already. I'm sure you'll turn your next house into your home just like you have this one, and before long this set back will seem like no big deal.

Now if you had to give up your bike.... I'd be suggesting drastic action :D (Thats a subtle hint to go out and ride... always puts a smile on my face, no matter whats going on in my life).

I don't want to stay... I just wanted them not to hassle me with open homes, and visits, text, emails from a rental agent, who does not listen. But your right to degree!

I have found a new place, and I am very happy with it..lol re bike, and your right about that, now you up for coffee and muffins... I like your response.

The full story is basically she promised us 6 months hassle free, the heating crapped out in the first 2 weeks, still not fixed and the house is a electrical time bomb, the pool pump leaks, and its been a cold winter. I know exactly why they are TRYING to sell, but as I have said :) its keeping the house clean, and tidy, and hassle free for my children, I am happy to leave I just am not happy at how they are treating excellent tenants, I am 100% they just wanted us in to make it look lived in... its a crap home in a great area, on a great street.

Moving on def!!!!

so muffins anyone!

I am grumpy cause they couldn't wait till 6 months (our contract) to sell it... thats all... my kids were looking forward to a summer in the pool to be honest, and they are disappointed... but will move on cause they are great kids.

don't worry about getting it... muffin:done: (oh sorry..... I can live in a crap house if its not mine for a certain length of time, the view is amazing...too)

Sounds like they have a 6mth Legal responsibility..

If they want you out earlier I would spend my $20 and load it with the Tenancy Tribunal via your closest Westpac bank....

Pleased to hear you've found a new place. Where you are looked lovely, but looks don't compensate for issues. When are you moving?
