Not how I would ride, but I can certainly see the appeal, beats sitting in a car in traffic!

I do agree its likely to end badly at some point and does tend to fuel anti bike feeling but I know I have often felt like riding like that, even if my common sense and self preservation urges kick in and stop me.

For a squid he seems to have a hard time going in a straight line. He can't even take off from the lights at the start without almost veering off into the next lane. I think the wide angle lens makes the lane splitting seem a lot tighter than it really is, not that it makes what he was doing any less retarded.

I had to laugh at the number of failed wheelie attempts. It's a 1000cc for fucks sake, it doesn't take the much effort to lift the front if you know what you're doing.

Dunno why your post stirred the grey matter but I have just remembered a late for work trip across Aberdeen in Scotland on my XT 350 which involved pavements, riding through the flowers in the middle of roundabouts & various other heinous shenanigans. This however is what you call insane. Run starts at 1:04. Really good riding, leaning that ZX10R right over, hard on the brakes. He holds the fastest time for this road section.

Ahhh, your right on not lane splitting on one wheel. Still....slightly faster than usual.
