Welcome,38 years on 2 wheels myself and have also fallen foul of a senior doing a mindless u turn though many years back,"moaning wimminfolk" means your still doing something right, rather do mad Monday on the Isle and the only Duc worth fixing is a Bevel, the rest are all pretenders that wouldnt know red wine from jungle juice and still smell of Cagiva.

Ha ha . Gotta say tho that the Suzuki 650 and 1000cc Vtwins have proven themselves to be great bikes. I nearly bought a TL1000s, but it was 4 grand more than the paso it was parked next to............

Nothing wrong with later ducks for guys like me that are pretty ham fisted when it comes to doing engine rebuilds.(and don't get me started about electrics:angry2:).

Welcome to kb.Ignore the tossers of which there are plenty, (I don't mean you 98tls),enjoy he pearls of wisdom and wit of which there is a few and feed the trolls because I love the stirring threads.

I hope to be able to put in as least as much as I take away from this site , and the odd tosser only makes the rest look better, pays to keep 1 or 2 around ,I've even heard rumours that they tend to all go for the same type of bike:lol:

Had a few Ducs myself way back, fell in love with them when a young fella as the old man had first an 860 then a couple of 900SSs.Had my old TLS for about 10 years now and have spent far more on it than its ever going to be worth to anyone else so it will probably live in the shed another 10 years or so.Enjoy the site fella.:niceone:
