Yes, sure do. At the moment I have 16 x 1/18 scale. A mix of Fords, and Holdens. Biante, Carlectables, and Autoart, and the detail is very nice. Also have 3 x 1/12 Tamiya Bikes. Had a few more but they got broken during a shift or two.

Nice work,i was living up in Wellington and selling cars for a living and we hired out the 1st floor of a building opposite the pits in 89 (from memory) when the GTR raced at the Nissan Mobil.Awesome and though it spent plenty of time in the pits with teething troubles watching it leave the pits was farking awesome, fwiw when running it was lapping 5 seconds a lap quicker than the BMW that won,no mean feat round that track.

So here we are bits n pieces,
-RGA500, under construction, a shitty matchbox kit which sure as hell makes ya appreciat the Tamiya kits.
-YZR5, the feaired kit bike I already had so tidied it up with the new body work, so built the new TZ fairingless.
-NSR500, few bits missing out of the box so again built it as an exposed bike, which is fine as I have a older shabby kit the same.

I've never collected anything but after getting given a model of the 911 we had and then later another and so on I started collecting them. Only 1:18th scale and only in raid trim unless, like the 917 etc they were only released as a race car. That way it keeps the collection manageable.

They are all now located in our bakery/cafe on SH1 in Otaki. The larger model is a 1/8th scale 993 pocher model and reasonable rare. I've also got a Britten pewter model which I'll post a pic of later.

The only other Porsche stuff I have is a rather large collection of factory calendars. They are very cool. I'll post some pics of them too when I get home.

hmmm, guess what, its snowing again so back to the modeling... kinda farked the RGB fairings up aye, had air under the mass of decals and when the clear hit it the decals melted... so think Ill leave it like this next to a old school RG5

One of the kits FJrider gave me of a NS5 is missing parts and instruction for the rothmans decals and I have no idea how they go, so I have done the engine up in the frame to sit next to a kit I already had.

Also nabed a 888 kit of tard me recently, its a race bike but missing the decals so have decided to do it in the tricolore colours of the era...

Nothing wrong with Irish whiskey :shifty: a wee bit of research & you'll find the best whiskey in the world is made on island just off the coast of Ireland, plus the Irish have making it longer than the Scots :blip:

I knew that would get Dangerous goin'

Glenariffe hatchery is no longer...hasn't been running for years  And Montrose Hatchery is run by a mate. Plus at this time of the year the only Salmon you'd find in the rivers would be like a silver sprat

I have admired that collection in person. I have also eaten brekkie at the fine establishment. Definitly worth a visit.

That's great to hear :)

Here's a pic of my Britten model I'm trying to find time to assemble.

I need to find more display space. The "reserve" collection in the barn cupboard is expanding continually - must keep off Ebay......
Even sticking to tight guidelines - 1:43rd Canam cars, F1 machines 1950's, 60's 70's some 80's, selected sports cars similar era, Lotus, Abarth & Mclaren and 1:24th mainly road bikes, space is at a premium......
I gave up on kitsets when eyesight started to get dodgy and marriages started to fall apart....

Used to make lots when I was a young chap - always modified them with bits off others or used plastic tube to make exhausts etc.

Somewhere it the back of a cupboard is a box of 30 plus year old motorcyle models ...... I wonder if they have survived the years and travels or has the glue packed a sad?

I may need to have a look this weekend! Presuming they are still there.

Yip... very interesting set up, rather pointless tho... do like how Bimota used 4 seperate headers over Ducati's singles on the 888

nabed a 888 kit of tard me recently, its a race bike but missing the decals so have decided to do it in the tricolore colours of the era... looking back it seems the thread wasent updated winter of 12... I did do a couple but no in build photos, and the last of the FJrider freebees, just engines as thats all that was left over in a box of parts.

Been ages since I've made a model, but I have a 1/350th Academy Titanic waiting to be built. I dare say I'll start it once we've bought our own home. Will most likely get the photoetched brass kits etc for it. :niceone:

I dont have any models, but I do have a number of 'Cavalcade of Cars' cards that used to come with the Weetbix packets back in the late 1950's. Mostly English cars, A full set of ' World of Fast Cars', and a smattering of 'Jets of the world', They are still in the 'Marcovitch Black & White Cigarettes' tin from my childhood years. I dont know what to do with these. My son wont be interested, my grandson is Autistic so will never mean anything to him.
