Ride it on the roads! It's unlikely you'll get stopped by a cop unless you're doing something stupid.

Breaking the law is often worth it.

With a week to go he would have to have rocks in his head to do it eh.Then again if i was a young fella no doubt i wouldnt give it a thought and go ahead. To the thread starter "wait it out fella theres plenty of time".

When I was young I would have been trying to see how fast I needed to go to get the pistons to come out. Alas those (w)reckless days are gone and I know it's only a wee while away but that doesn't stop me feeling like a virgin before prom night :o

Pretty sure they see me a rollin, and they know that I have style, and that they have zero business interfering with my day so they just keep a respectable distance.

Got snapped riding an 800cc over the harbour bridge last midnight.. apparently i was doing 99ks.

The nice coppa was nice enough to let the licence slide. But gave me a notice for the speed.

She said, im not gonna worry bout the bike tonight becuase u own the bike, not beeing stupid, going home from uni and co-operating. But you do run the risk, other cops might not be so nice.

So gave her a smile, happily received my discounted ticket, then rode home.

Moral of the story, dont ride like a dick, and you;ll be fine.

DO NOT PAY HEED TO THE BAD INFLUENCES' THAT RESIDE IN KB LAND.

Stay on the driveway until full licence is obtained. I wonder:innocent:, is that like waiting until you're married for sex?????

(Dont' come too soon)

my reasoning for the >250cc bikes when on my L/R licences was simple, if i could take the demerits without losing my licence, there was no question

Edit: i remember a mate of mine once did the same for a while, put a few kms on his bike in the driveway lol. He had an ankle bracelet though..

Some years ago this happened to my son. His new Suzuki 125 was delivered to him by the shop.
He had about two weeks to go before his learners so was not aloud on the road. He did 71km around the back yard, I kid you not, and killed most of the grass in a figure eight pattern in the process.

Ride safe.
