AMCC Club Round - Hampton Downs, 17 Oct: Under threat of being called off
Gidday All,
This is an "All Hands On Deck" call to all you that are contemplating racing at the above meeting...
If you are thinking of entering but haven't got around to it - it's now time to "Pull Finger" & do so
At this stage of the game the meeting is under real threat of being called off due to a serious lack of confirmed entries
The R.R.C have made significant efforts to gather input from you "The Riders" in as far as what classes you'd like to see racing, what entry fee's you'd be prepared to pay, the layout of the programme to best allow those of you who want to X enter to do so...
And yet to date entries in all classes have been absolutely bl**dy dismal... :oi-grr:
In fact the only class that has achieved the minimum grid requirement is the "Side Car's"
The Club has undertaken a serious financial committment to bring this & further rounds at Hampton Downs to you, so it's now up to you lot to show your support / appreciation by playing the game & getting entered
The sooner the better people because a decision will be being made shortly...
Those of you with any questions are welcome to PM me or check the clubs Facebook page (I don't belong to Facebook so cannot provide a link)
You can get your entry forms here http://www.amcc.org.nz/updates-events
Cheers

This is unbelievable!
Speaking to people at the ART day on sunday, it looks like F2 will have the minimum entry requirement, or more but I guess they haven't actually put their entry in yet.
Come on guys, lets make this happen!

where's nzkr1 and all his buddies now moaning about sidecar entries????

Its all of the above, very disappointing to say the least.
I'd say the clock is counting down from now and if we don't have enough entries to put the minimum numbers on the grid by the first post one week from today (Thursday) then its all off.
It would be really helpful if riders intending to enter but have yet too let us know to expect the entry.
Cheers

as far as 250 lights go, ive sent my entry in, talked to ken from hyosung and hes sent his entry in. And ive herd of billy renting out 3 or so 250's so im taking it there entry will be on their way too.
I think its jsut people being slack send there entries in on time, only reason mine is late is because i had to wait for my MNZ licence.
Dont worry, im sure your letter box will fulled with entries soon enough.

Is there any way of confirming faxed entries have been received?
I sent my form in about a week ago (250 prolites - one of Billy's bikes) but no money has been removed from my bank account and I've not heard anything else.

So... How are we looking on numbers now?
My understanding is numbers are "getting there" and with the usual last minute rush we should be ok.
However the cut off for pre entry is still a couple of days away (Thursday) and the call will be made then.
So logic should tell us we will know on Friday, I will try and get the answer up on here Friday anyway.
