i love them as well, our mazie paddock series averaged 430 riders per round this year, very few mx races get this sort of numbers, give the people what they want

any good dirt boys shouls use both, you tend to use much more rear brake off road i have found, i drag the brake alot on big dirt bikes, to get the back to settle up,

offroad skills transfer very well on on road, its a good way to get ride time up alot more cheaply than doing trackdays, weight transfer and sliding etc do not change form road to dirt,

well I learnt a few tricks thanks to the guys helping me out you throw it in then when it feels like your gonna crash lean the opposite way worked wonders and could carry so much more speed The starts are differnt from the road tho hahha all lined up on one grid

yes, you learn how to start, that is why the ex motocrossers like Choppa, Jared Love adn the rest are good at starts, MX you need to be on your game,

that is my advantage at road racing coming from 125's I learnt you have to start well.
I love it tho im not into doing massive jumps just flattish circuits I dont mind rises and small jumps but im not into 40 foot high bad boys like out Hairy Hills

Senior C was crazy at the third round... Was kind of handy having 2 groups. That way when I stalled on the first start I could easily claim I was actually waiting for the second group haha.

Flat track / Good time scrambles / Paddock racing are good fun. Look forward to some more Mr Motorcycles events soon.

Ive done 5 of the Mr motorcycles rounds, and the 2 events Ktmboy ran as well.

so does that mean I am no longer a novice?

Scott if you have to split the novice into 2 groups you could make it MX bikes 1 group. and trail and endro bikes the other.

when we started splitting groups last year we left it to the riders to pick which group, as alot of people want to race their mates, it seemed to work well,

there were a few poeple in C grade that needed to move up, but its just a fun day so we are not going to get anal about stuff

I'll pootle (feels fast to me...) round at the back with you Oldguy, you would have loved the track at the Airport last weekend, wish I'd taken a bike.. These TT style scrambles put the "Good Times" back into MX for us oldies...... ( I do love a few "careful" laps of Harrisville though.....Oh to have young knees again.....)

The Kawasaki Good Time Scramble earlier this year was great however as they said on the day the numbers were pretty low so it might not be viable to run again.

In this order, looks like you lost the front end, then lost the bars, then lost the bike haha

I do that alot, if im not riding over the top of someones bike and then crashing with style.

Almost... It was a very long flat hard corner that had just been watered so came round, twisted a bit too much throttle and had the back come round on me.

Fells Farm is on this coming Sunday, so I'll hopefully be back on 2 feet for the 31st round. Bit more than flat MX but I enjoy it. Key is count to 3 after the start gates drops and then take off haha.
