I was just put on to these Motorcycle Heated Grip Pads for U$3.50 a pair on fleabay.
I nabbed myself two pair for NZ $16 and as they are so cheap figured I'd post the link for others to look at.
No idea how good they are but for the cost it don't seem worth worrying about.
4 pairs left.

Could be up to 21 days before they arrive. By then it will be summer

Under your grips? Not a chance in hell there would be any space under my grips, unless you're going to replace the grips as well.
Dunno why people don't just get a set of tried and true oxford grips.

+1 on that.
The time you spent dicking around wiring, fitting etc you couldve done the proven.
Cost for the grips shouldn't break the bank and are easy as to install

It will be interesting to hear how they go. I've got symtech (http://www.casporttouring.com/cst/motorcycle/RC51/16025.html) grip heaters, which are excellent, but they are really expensive to get shipped to NZ, so it's good to know about other comparable products.

How many different designs and colours are out there for handgrips? Thousands.
How many for oxford grips? 3! Original, Cruiser and Sports (all Black)

And they are all too fat for my tiny girl-hands :violin:
Apparently the Daytona heated grips transmit more vibes from the bars, compared to using grip heaters and regular grips. I don't know if that applies to the oxfords as well.
