anyone know what this ride will be like? terrain easy/hard?

havn't been on the bike for a couple of months and was planning my comeback ride in the wairarapa on the 31th.

but since i lasted 10 minutes on the rower tonight maybe i can hit the trail this weekend.

Not meaning to hijack your thread, but their flyer makes it sound like it's only for little bikes... or is the note just for the mini track?

yeah it's a little confusing, i think that note is for the mini track.

if i'm not too buggered after the gym tonight and decide to ride i'll give them a ring and see if i can find out some more details.

Pete - if it's anything like the track they've used before you'll find it not dissimilar to Sand Country, Tangimoana etc. Start is through a couple of kms of pines, then farm tracks and paddocks and back through some more pines. All sand based. About 20 kms I guess and some reasonable variety.

Best trail ride I've done in a long time, absolutely loved the afternoon (once I got over my hangover and stopped whinging about the lack of sleep)

Although the terrain was similar to all the other sand based rides I felt the layout and flow was far better. Will definately be doing that one again

my first trail ride in ages, and loved it. bit sore now but.
