Africa Twin. Dodgy?

There is a guy in the north island selling a 93 black white and red Afriuca Twin.....thought I,d give him a ring .....he,s from switzerland and is selling it as he is leaving the country. So phone goes straight on to answer machine-I do a bit of research and it was sold on trade me early this year! So he now has it back but his trade me account is disabled. Any one anything about it and is it worth looking into?....:facepalm:

Where is it? Maybe someone could go & check it out in person, if it's near Rotorua I'm happy to have a look for you. Drooling over adv bikes is hardly a chore.

This sounds suspiciously like the phantom bike that was listed on Bike Trader last year. A mate loves his Africa Twins & spent hours trying to track down the owner to no avail. Good luck.

Where's it listed? There was that one that went for a grand buy now with presumably a f*cked output shaft.

It was on trade me last year, not sure what appened but it was on my watchlist and the seller was swiss, down south if I remember for around $5k.
