If you mean the barrel shaped ones fitted to BSA and triumphs? You can get replicas from any british spares retailer. The replicas are not of the same quality as the originals which were anti vibration (supposedly). If you are some sort of poor impoverised student with thoughts of bobber urban style I might even have an old pair in the pile o munt that lives in the garage.... probably... they would be well used though...

Adds a new meaning to "the rear brake feels a bit wooden" and "rides like a buckboard"...

Looks like you've hardtailed it, going by the way the rear legs connect the backbone. Have you tried a peanut tank on it?
By all means, post up on here.
Also we have set up forums on our site now specifically for custom builds and cruisers, so by all means feel free to head that way and post a running build thread. The forum is pretty dead at the moment, being fairly new.

...beauty in the eye of the beholder 'n' all that...in a couple of similar but different things ive built, i could not find a better looking tank than an old RD200 tank...'tho there are lots of tanks out there....are some of your main bits there XV Yamaha related ...??..
