It's going to terrific surely? :sunny: Race entries close Friday 29 Oct so pull ya fingers out!

Ferry tickets booked, rally paid for, Bluff hill climb & beach racing entered, bring it on :woohoo:

I would also like to propose a challenge to other riders: anyone else who enters one street event & the beach racing on the same road legal bike that they ride to the rally is eligible & whoever has the best combined placings wins the title of 'Burt Munro Adventure Legend' :first:

Cheers
Clint

PS If any racers or ralliers are taking a van down to the Burt from BOP/Taupo & would like to earn some beers I need a couple of sets of tyres & my leathers freighted down for the event, send me a PM.

Invercargill has been buzzing since Wednesday and heaps of bikes around. I was out at the site today and there is already a big crowd. We've been blessed with wondefully warm weather and I'm told the beach racing this morning was magic. No wind, just sunshine and bikes and enthusiastic spectators. The racing circuit was moved this year to protect the toheroa although I don't quite understand how a shellfish knows to avoid a patch of 20 mile beach.... :D

Went to Graeme Crosby's book launch this evening and that was an interesting experience. Lots of people there, should have tracked down Big Dave. Enjoyable seeing a guy who was a living legend when I were a lad talking openly and happily about his racing life.

Looking good for tomorrow with Teretonga racing.

I KNEW it!!! I can't begrudge the good weather everyone enjoyed, because I always had a good time there, even in the rain/cold/wind:yes:
