hahaha - what you have to remember is that the weather report for the coast has an accuracy rate of about 40%. when they say 'west coast' its an area that stretch's from Auckland to wellington.
The best and most accurate is metvu. greymouth is not expecting rain until Tuesday afternoon. - silly boys!!

A little bit of drizzle earlyish, but dry roads for all racing. And a mighty fine day it was, thanks to all organisers and volunteers in making it happen! :woohoo:

And thanks to the riders for providing a great spectacle!!
Apart from the multiple bike pile up in the dirt section and a the "Black Betty" incident on turn 4 in the last Formula Grey race, the day ended up pretty good.
I think Neil should rename black betty the Exon Veldez. He must run 20 litre's of oil in that thing???
cheers, steve

Primary chain broke and was trying to find it's way out of the motor, so it made rather a large hole for the oil to get out of

It was an amazingly awesome weekend. After quite a while off the track with several issues through the year, it was awesome to get back on the bikes, and what a place is Greymouth. Had some fabulous battles, and that is what makes it so much fun, along with the spectators and the organisation behind it all.
Thanks a million, and I will be sure to be back again next year 2011.
