 Bloody Typical Sky Sport, You pay to have the Sport Channel so you get to watch the Moto GP Live and then find out that the coverage is going to be delayed, Bloody Pathetic.
And yet if it was the V8's there wouldn't be a problem.
Pull your finger out SKY SPORT and give us what we want and what we pay for A Motorcyle Racing Channel uninterupted 24/7 :woohoo:.
Maybe l should go and work for them by that way there would be more Motorcycle Racing on TV then what there is at present.
So what do you reckon???????????

Hello Glenn,

Thank you for your email.

The weekend is always a very hectic time for sports scheduling due to so many LIVE and Delayed events we have coming through and airing on all 3 of our Sport channels. Please be aware that Sports 4 to 8 are only active during the duration of the Commonwealth Games. On Sunday the 17th we have on Sports 1 LIVE from 2:30pm ITM Cup Rugby, Sports 2 LIVE also from 2:30pm International Rugby League, and on Sports 3 LIVE from 3:55pm International Cricket.

We appreciate that sport fans are very passionate about their particular sports and we are aware also that television viewing is very personal and subjective and any decision we take is never done so lightly but we do have to try and cater to all the sports we have rights to and offer a wide selection of programmes. We also hope that despite this you will continue to enjoy all the great programming on offer here at SKY.

Please feel free to contact SKY Television Customer Services on 0800 759 759 for further information, alternatively please respond via return email and we will endeavour to reply within 24 hours.

With kind regards,

SKY Customer Services Team

Why don't they give it to free to air so that they only have rugby on sky!!

Unfortunately we are wanting to watch a minority sport.
All three of the other sports being shown live will have a much greater viewing number, even cricket without NZ playing would probably be higher than motorcycle racing.

I thought Sunday's viewing was pretty darn good...
TV3 had Bathurst all day, then immediately after that the F1 started Live on Sky.
Immediately after that the MOTOGP from Sepang was on Live on the other SKY Sport channel.

I bought sky only for the Motor Racing. Rugby will always take a backseat to Motorsports in my house and Sunday was awesome.
However, I don't missing the odd race now & then but it is a shame that a Race Live in our own Sunday time slot from Phillip Island should not be shown live.

Yea you are totally correct. He is the champ and has won it so convicingly also.

I think the general cencus is that he is such an arrogant tosser and because of this personal atribute, many would prefer someone else leading the pack.

Personally I am hoping to see Spies become a serious challenger next year. Totally dig that guys attitude.

Sorry Shane its totally Lorenzoland in our workshop. Now that Rossi has defected to that funny Iti team ''he was never any good anyway''
Watch out for Spies next year, great attitude ( for a Yank ) and great riding style. No brazen ego which is great, he just gets on with it.
Given also that Honda ditched Showa they are now also competitive.

Nah bro seems like Yamaha are clutching at straws already.

Jarvis kinda forgets Stoner won on a Duke their first year together...same as Rossi/Yamaha.
These boys know what to expect.Jorge is goin to have to pay his shrink double to handle that pressure.

Seems to me unless they find some motor, the only thing Yamaha will be developing is cobwebs.

That uprated motor seems to have helped. But it may take a little time for the Rossi affect to wear off the Yamaha.
So many things to watch next year.

ps Just heard 08.40am. severe weather is expected at PI and there is every chance it could be called off if the predicted weather arrives.

At least they're showing the qualifying at 3.45pm on Saturday - Live on SS3.

And a small (but entertaining) consolation is the FIM from Sweden is on Sunday morning at 11.00am...

The really annoying thing is they're airing the highlights at 9.00pm on Sunday (Channel 33) before they even show the whole race

who cares about bike racing when it's raining !

Raining? Really? Bugger got mates riding down that way today, will just about be at Rimutex by now, was thinking of heading down the east side to meet up with them at some point, they're heading down to do the southern point of the 4 points rally (Lake Ferry) and then back up this way.
By the way I appreciate your taste in women but i'm sure you meant to sensor that, not that i'm bothered by it though... Just saying..

What pisses me off is the fact that both the Rugby Channel and Sky Sport 1 have exactly the same programming covering the exact time that the GP would have been on. Two lots of ITM cup followed by an All Blacks announcement, both channels, 2.30pm to 7.30pm.
The one chance we get to see a GP race at a normal time of day (i.e. not friggin 3am), they screw us round. F**kn bunch of Asshats

Just sent a bitch to Sky - bloody sick of their slack arse attitude.

I turned on Sky this afternoon to watch Motogp live, as advertised in Skywatch with a picture in the header. Not for the first time this year, motorcycle racing has been bumped.

The only reason I purchase sky sport is for the motorcycle racing.
It strikes me as astonishing that you advertise something and then do not deliver on one of the few GPs we can watch live at a reasonable hour.
I have read the standard response you are sending to others who have complained.
It is a nonsense to justify your poor service to motor racing fans by saying the weekend is crowded and difficult to squeeze everything in - as I write this Hawkes Bay vs Nth Harbour rugby is being played on 2 of the sports channels at the same time. I realise one of these is the rugby channel, but a motorsport channel is a luxury we don't have.

Hoping (but not really expecting) your service to improve,
Matt Hodgson

Yep, exactly why I canned Sky the last time, a few years ago - and why I haven't bothered to get it again. It just adds insult to injury when they do it to the Aussie GP - as you point out, one of the few we can watch at a normal hour of the day.
Why have dedicated rugby channels only to pollute the other sports channels with the same crap whilst all the motorsport fans suffer?
Surely any keen rugby fans have purchased the rugby channel package, as the likes of us would do IF there were a dedicated motorsport channel?
It's like my gripe with Maori TV, they've got a dedicated channel yet still insist on playing several Maori language programmes on the other channels - ruins a good Saturday morning lie in!
