kawerau to ohope? thats not very far. hmmm. i ll think about it. i may tag it onto the end of a longer run. i cant be arsed with all the hassle of getting me bike outta the shed and getting me gear on for a 30 minute ride.

I fell the same might look at doing it on the end or start of another ride aswell. I have to admit though my ride today was pretty shitty i didn't evan get out of an 80km area only went from ohope to town and then back over to ohope.

i used to take my bike to work in uk in rain, snow wind, whatever, now i work at the bottome of my street so i dont do the commuting thing now. i ll only ride for fun, and therefore, if i go for a run out, i like to go for a proper jaunt. riding in suburbia is frustrating beyond belief on a 1000 cc sports bike. anyhoo. hopefully get some more track time this summer

Would be great to see a good turn out of KBrs for this charity ride. I hear that there is a DVD player up for a spot prize from badge sales... You could be the person from the far far away place that takes out the furtherst travelled prize. This ususally from Auckland.

73 bikes turned up on another fantastic Eastern bay of Plenty Day.
Oldest bike was a 69 BSA
Oldest Rider was Howard at 83yrs
Furtherst rider was from Orewa.
The ride this year took in Taneatua and the gorge through to Ohope beach.
Plenty of spot prizes were taken away and peoples feed with the BBQ hosted by our charity Riding for the Disabled.
See you all next year
