I had mine a few years ago. Kids think it's still happening. But hell what do the kids today know about 'happenings.' Most I have forgotten about and the ones I do remember I would sooner not.

I'm 20 going on 21 next year.
I gave up counting when I was about 14. I rely on my folks and/or girlfriend.
For example, when I do something stupid the conversation usually starts with
"STUART, YOU ARE 19 YEARS OLD, NOW GROW UP AND START ACTING IT!"
It usually ends with me convulsing with laughter on the floor    but at least I know how old I am!! :eek5:

You should've had the options 21-30, 31-40 etc. because as it is, if someone is 20, 30, or 40 they could go in the group above or below their age.

So, in the motorcycling world does age equal maturity?
I'd only just got my full licence and the shops I went looking around to purchase a +250cc bike were all keen to let me ride 900's, even though I'd only ever ridden 250's. They reckoned I looked mature enough not to go nuts (I'm only 28). Not sure if they were just looking to off load stock though!?!
Personality maybe?

12th November 2004, 19:31
yes well I am glad I'm passed the age of feeling uncertain about the future and that sort of thing, but am old enough to realise how fragile and precarious life is, I'm glad I'm not a young person anymore, as I am comfortable with myself as a person, never used to be.
I do feel the need to experience whatever life has to offer me while I am still able to do stuff, and not just be resigned to waiting to die in an armchair knitting booties or something.
each age has it's good points, but I'm glad of each year of health and relative happiness, it's all good

How come the second 50 years your body doesn't match your mind? and the teenage girls look just as good? but so do the 35 years olds?
And you KNOW not to do something 'cos it is going to hurt? but when you were a teenager it would still hurt but you did not have the brains to realise that? but all todays teenagers think they know it all and everything is new?
And sex is even better, don't have to 'prove' yourself!
And you don't buy lemons anymore (most of the time)
And when you say "gimme 15 quids worth of 4"X2" to a sixteen year old just to see them go "eh? whatever".
And you wear/ride what you want 'cos you don't give a fat rats arse what the tend/fashion/style is.
And you know being 'cool' is being your own person and doing what YOU want, - not what you THINK will make you look cool to others?
Yep, the 60's and 70's was pretty good but being 50+ is pretty good too, the cemetery is full of those that didn't get there!! :2thumbsup  :cool2:

41 and 3/4ers:finger: and still feel like I'm 31.
Mental age can go from 16 to 100+ in seconds e.g. F*ck let's see how fast this bike can go (age 16). Shit that's a bit fast for me and I don't think a could make the corner. Better start braking (starts braking miles back and have the feeling that my old bones might not heal very quickly). Gets past on the outside/inside (which ever took the bigger balls/tits at time by the passing rider), left with the feelings that I am a f*cken nana and that f*cken young wipper snappers think there so bullet proof (age 100+).
PS: just relised that the post no is the same as my age (freaky):whocares:

Thats what they tell ya, but what they really mean is that by now you've got enough pay rises that you are able to afford the bike - never mind experience levels, 900s make more profit

Just started wondering what the age range is of all the people on here.
Like wich age group makes up the majority and such. I did a search and didn't find anything so I don't think this has been done before.
So just select your age group and feel free to post what ever you choose to. For those that don't want thier age revealed this is not a public poll. (as in no one can see who selected wich one.)
I feel young an insignificant. Oh well, 19th this year how old am I feeling
