Ask Sarge on here, he was working for Red Baron as a salesman when he looked at me with one eye and made the offer subject to mech inspection. ! !

They never had that K1 1000 there OAB, it was 2005 December and we rocked in there with Two Newish GSXR1000K3's..
The one that we were looking at trading had done less than 10,000kms ! ! AND I REPEAT THE TRADE IN OFFER WAS $6500 ! !
From Sarge off this site ! !

Hey Steve what the fuk is your problem???? Dealers will never give you what your bike is worth, because they are a business, and they want to make money off your bike, seems you are the noob if you don't realize that.
Red barron, currently has a K1 thou on sale for $10995. So $7000 for my bike doesn't seem like to much to me.
I have seen a couple of K1-K2 thou's for sale, for around $6500, but have been in rough condition, with problems.
Iam not trying to rip anyone off, $6500 - $7000 for a 1000cc K1, in good condition, I think is a great deal. Also I have not seen another one around with the black and silver colour scheme.

Steve, if you don't have anything helpful to say concerning his thread, you should gtfo and stop posting in it. If he's asking too much the bike won't sell, the current market determines bike prices, not your subjective opinions of what prices should be.
Tidy looking bike by the way Hectic, good luck with sale.

At least the thread is getting bumped a lot. Keeps it on the first page of listings.

hahaha he's just a troll honestly i dont know what his agenda is. maybe he really thinks he can pull the bike market prices down like this?
lovely machine, they are sick bikes and in my opinion the best bang for the buck. who needs anything more?

I think 7000 is a fair asking price for this bike, allowing for a decent amount of bargaining room.
You'll always come across misers who will make ridiculous offers. Just hold on to it, you'll sell it eventually.
Obviously, if you want a quick sale, dropping the price is the way to go.
