Met a guy on the road once who had hinged the plate and raised/lowered it with a bicycle gear selector. Worked well he said but the hinge pin had vibrated out and his plate had just dropped off. He asked me to follow him closely when we went past a bunch of cops but he was on a Beemer.....too slow:woohoo:
