Righto, I will be getting gas and having a pie at the Rangiora Mobil (19 Ashley St, Rangiora) and intend on leaving there at 11am to go through Lees Valley and probably home via one of the Waimak roads.

Good day for a ride it was and a good ride we had.
Lees Valley from Rangiora to Oxford and the North Bank roads home.
Okuku Fox Creek is listed as 1.18 cumecs this morning and was very very low but had a soft bottom that looked lumpy but wasn't.
The road is in good condition with the usual pot holes, rain groves, corrugation, stock and some traffic. The middle flat bit was well swept and fast, the Loburn end gravel was good and the Oxford end gravel was still a bit slippery as normal.
The Silver Fern Rally is going through on Monday 15th November so who knows what that will do to it or of they re-gravel after.

Nice pics guys, no doubt a great day for a ride. I would have joined you but I shuffled my day off on Friday instead of Monday to beat the "holiday fishermen"

Oh yea, did someone say night ride.... Thursday/Friday/Saturday nights I am willing, Thursday nights would be my best bet as I don't need to work around Js plans then and have a late start to a very short day at work on Fridays so get to sleep in.
Just set up a thread or post in the North Canty Adventure rides thread (or give us a PM) and we'll see what happens.
