Just read on SBP that Ben Bostrom is in NZ, wonder what that could be for? I know he is massive into outdoors stuff, mtb events etc. Is there anything on at the moment?

Its off season for him so why don't Honda put him on one of its bikes for our Superbike series?

Maybe because its off season, and he is here to chill out.?
the single speed racing scene is serious for about ten people at the front of the pack, but everyone else is there chillin': as an example, the course is set so that you can take a shortcut, but if you do, youhave to drink a beer at the fork in the track. People wear costumes, and its generally a huge party. the parties afterwards are legendary too.
Oh and if you win? You get a tattoo. An actual tattoo proclaiming you single speed world champ 2010. One for the boys winner, one for the girls.
Its the only form of cycle racing I could possibly see myself doing these days.

3rd, so hardly relaxing then?
I entered the SSWC and saw his back labelled "BEN BOSTROM", I had no idea it was actually him until at the prizegiving.
