View Full Version : Visitors to NZ wanting to buy bikes and sell them afterwards

I've been asked to advise some people (up to four) who want to tour NZ on motorbikes during the 2011 world Cup. They (think) they want to buy bikes and sell them at the end of their visit. They think that they might get someone to arrange a purchase of 500 to 600cc machines so that they can hit the ground running when they get here,

That sounds difficult to me - and a shitload of work for any individual - unless there were some sort of broker who does this sort of thing for a fee. Maybe a bike dealer would do it - arrange to supply some bikes and guarantee to buy them back at the end. Anyone know a broker or dealer who would take this on?

Cheers

a dealer in the city they land and leave from would be the most obvious start i would think.

We'd be happy to do it.

Hello, i had a great experience with motorcyclebuyback. com,

Peter, being a biker, had good advice about what bike would be best for my 5 week tour of New Zealand, he always returned my emails very promptly,
he picked me up from Auckland airport, drove me to there place near Waihi, excellent welcome from Karen ( cold beer ), a very stressless start to my time in NZ,

There apartment for guests is 5 star, excellent place to chill and get rid of jetlag,
they recommended loads of routes and places not to be missed,

at the end of my tour i returned with the bike, i stayed my last night there,
and again great place to relax after my 9,000ks of touring
they also arranged a shuttle bus to the airport,
first class, and very friendly service,

and if you are 'thinking' about going to NZ 'dont' Just do it!
get it booked! its Awesome!!
Very friendly people and fantastic biking roads,
I want to return and do it all again,

oh! great bunch you KBers and superb beers :-)
