Notoil air filter?

anyone useing the Notoil air filter stuff.... how do you clean the shit out, gas dont seem move it, would i have to get some of the notoil cleaner as well?
what are you fellas using?
i think i read some where about using 80w gear oil .
Im riding a XR600.

Just ordered the kit myself , I'm sure I read a detergent will clean it out, or Kero?

I usually use Handy Andy in a bucket of hot water to get most of the dirt out, then some turps to get the remaining oils out, then I rinse it in cold water.
