Was such an awesome race. Track was mint, really dusty but once you got out of the group it was perfect.
Haha I couldn't start my bike at the start of the race.. started off deadlast!
Was running 1st Iron man and 9th overall after about 2 hours when I got a flatty.. Didn't have the gear to change a tube. Ahh well. Mousses tubes in this week!
Thanks WMCC for another epic ride. Looking forward to all the Riverhead events!

It was one seriously cool track, really nice variety. I lost the top sub-frame bolt after 2.5 laps & was not exactly racing to get it fixed, I was buggered.
Here's hoping Riverhead goes a bit better 4 me, it sure looked like if I got 5 laps in as ironman I'd have done alright :), pretty big if mind you.

Little bit more moisture would have done the trick but who would have thought we would only get 25mm of rain in October?
Riverhead should be something pretty special- plans are afoot for for plenty of new tracks...
