Are there any outside power points to run tyre warmers from at Taupo? (like Manfeild's stables)

Na, mate, but it's only $50 a door for a pit shed I do believe. You can easy fit 4 bikes +gear.

There are no outside plugs like Manfeild. You need to bring a generator if not taking a garage. (The Taupo Motorsport Park has put their garage price up, but I'll have to check how much.) The garages are available for hire through TMP 3765033 or on the day.

Great day! Thanks to Ruskin for letting me take his 848 out, very nice! Bit sore from the bking landing on me, glad no one had a camera.
Photos (of people riding on the track, not of me dropping bikes in pit lane) will be up in due course, check out the web page for links etc

Awesome day. First time at Taupo so I found it quite challenging for a start but had a blast. Even the additional 50m past the hairpin was fun

Quite different to the MV. It didn't overheat or leak when idling on the dummy grid. Was like a 675 to ride, handled very nicely. The pilot pures were good to a point... like the powers they don't really work after that point (too hot). I was shitting myself a bit, it's like a piece of jewelery, last thing i wanted to do was bin it!
The clutch action is super heavy. The brakes are awesome.
Come out on the back of the bking next time if you like. There are no secrets, its all about being smooth and progressive with all the inputs.

A big fat Thank you to Matt Bleck for showing me round the track as it was my 1st time on my 600. And thank you to the other guys at Moto TT for helping me out with suspension! bike would have thrown me off if you didn't help.
What a day!!!!
ended up leading group 3(until Simon passed me then Kiwifruit passed him with his knee on the ground! i couldnt stop laughing it was so funny.) *waits for mum to shit her pants* lol
The CBR wanted to high side on me coming out of the chicane on what would have been the sweeper....it didnt tho, thank god. I think i hit some slippery white line or some dirt on the track. got my knee down LOL for about a second til i jumped back on the bike
Can't wait to do it again. see you guys at Manfield on the 11 December! hope to be marshalling at higgins again! that was fun too!
