I had a little incident on the track at the weekend. See attached photo.

Did a search and Wheel and Frame in Cambridge seems to keep poping up as the best. Anyone know of anyone that may be as good that are Auckland based (just to make my life easier).

Hi Pumba,
I would not go past that guy, i had a race rim far worse than yours, sent it to him and i could not belive that it could be fixed. It came back like new, balanced and true.
Can't remember his details but he is highly recomended, the price to fix was'nt to bad either.

IMO that one's marginal for repair - the size and acute bend make it very likely it's cracked which means considerable welding & machining.
Price a straight secondhand one...

I'm pretty sure Brugar Engineering on Barrys Point Road in Takapuna do this.

I've used them for other tasks and they have been great.

Noooooooooooo!!!! Don't even think about letting these guys fix your bike wheels. I've re-repaired some of their car wheel repairs and fixed stuff they have attempted and failed.
I'm pretty good with car stuff, but don't have the gear to do bike stuff, it's very different.
Send them to frame and wheel, or get a replacement, don't f*ck around.
