"Looks like the bastard offspring of a mating between a V-Rod and a Monster!"

That's direly ugly. Pointless too. It's as blasphemous as a Porsche PanAmerica and utterly baffling as to why both companies would want to even go there.
Did Ducati learn nothing from the Indiana?

I reckon they have been waiting and watching decades James and got it fairly right this time.
Obviously designed to crack into the American market but IMO it will be a bit of a hit in Europe and simmer in the states.
I give Ducati a 'A' for having a crack and going their own way - it looks fresh and powerful, and it is NOT a Harley clone. Good to see it has full power too.
I look forward to one passing me on the Akaroa hills and making me stop on the side of the road to check just what may have fell off my bike to slow me down!

Nice looker for sure, typical Ducati marketing drivel.Still, for some handing over the cheque ensures it will all be so.

I guess when the OP was done, all the tech spec and video etc was not on their website? Looks great at the rear and from the side looks like MT01 or V Max. The headlight looks wrong tho to me. Wonder how much it will be?

Nice looker? It looks like a Bimota Mantra and you guys all profess to loathe those.
A V-Max will tear it's puny body from its weedy chassis and use it to start perfect, tyre popping burnouts.

Bimota Mantra  Shame on you for that comparison!
The new V-Max is as ugly as a Mantra - it seriously missed the boat IMO.
I'd put a beer on it that the Ducati would see off the V-Max as soon as it hit some hills.

Meh.
Even James Bond couldn't save the BMW R1200C (which was their attempt to break into the cruiser market).
