Worth a ride up perhaps? - up SH16 to Wellsford, Whangapiro Valley Rd to Matakana and on to Leigh - if you have a couple of hours to spare.

That last little bit is uphill gravel but I will be there, be taking the scenic coastal route.

Reason #3, gravel bashing. Thanks for the reminder Maha.

That might be pretty cool. How much to get into the book launch? There's a nice camp ground just up the road from the sawmill and its pretty cheap for the night too if you wana stay the night.

Free to get into the launch but I suspect you'll get hit up to buy one.

That's ok, if it's a good book I'd probably want one.

This Sunday at 3pm people. I've read the book and its a bloody good read, very funny. My wife is now reading and enjoying it - which surprised me because she is not into motorcycle racing at all, so the book obviously has much wider appeal than just Croz fans.

I'm half way through my copy. It is a very good read. Lot's of things I didn't know about Croz's career.

It was a good afternoon at the Sawmill Cafe yesterday afternoon. A nice ride and definitely looks like a good spot to go for lunch.
