Don't hint to me, my address is wellington, not mt wellington! There might be some room between wheel arches in the HiAce, but I usually store the race stands there.

its always a good event --close intense racing and you can see it all from the comfort of ya warm car.

I've got the RS125 shock fitted now so I really want to go for a bit of a ride to try it. MY wrist probably isn't up to the full GP so I'm not bothering with that, plus I'm too old and slow anyway, so I'm planning a quick couple of laps on Saturday if I can talk the lovely Wendy or that top bloke John Connor into letting me. Anyway if anybody wants to do a couple of laps you're most welcome. Probably pay to give me a quick call just to confirm I'm going out as I do have a few other things to do on Saturday. 0275426603/ 8360286 - Mike.

Took the bike out for a play today. The RS shock is B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L.
Places where the rear would have skittered over ripples weren't a problem. Powering out of corners over bumps while well cranked over - not a problem. Wound a bit of ride height into it, and then wound in a bit more just to quicken the steering - not a problem. The old TT900 tyres were doing their thing, knee down in the sweeper and over kerbs. Finally lost it after turning right off the back straight when I got a bit too keen gassing it up. I thought it might wheelstand while cranked over but it just slid the rear till I was lying on the track.

Much more fun than working.

Nigel was doing boring looking 30s laps, gotta get a set of those Dunlop slicks.

What have you put a RS125 shock on. I am wanrting to m0d my bike so I can crank the throttle open more. It just go's BUUUUURRRR then snap power band I want it so I can be on the throttle sooner so it is snapping like a chawawa with a shoe at the apex

It used to be a RG50. I chopped all the original shock mount out and fabricated a new one going forward to the steering head with a brace between the frame rails. The fuel tap was relocated as was all the ignition. The swingarm was modified using bits I had lying in the garage. A little bracket was made for the reservoir just behind and below the carb on the engine mount cross brace. I used an old shock spherical bearing to bolt the swingarm end of the shock onto. I had to gently tap the bottom of the tank(with a big hammer) to clear the spring.

As you can see there has been a few changes since it left the factory.
