Some time ago, I was talking to a brit ex-soldier who reckoned he made a mint by stocking up on shoe polish and good disposable razors. Apparently the penalty for an officer who isn't immaculately presented is worth the 500% mark-up that he was selling these items for.

So go buy these items in bulk then sell them off when you're on manoeuvres many miles from your barracks.

If you have no idea what you really want, then there is probably nothing you really need. Put it in the bank and forget about it. It will still be there when you see something want or want to do.
