Weather started out rough with delays to FP1 and a few not going out.
FP2 wet to start but then cleared, finishing up with Fiat Yamahas and Ducatis in the top four. Horhay,Hayden,Rossi,Stoner, in that order. G.

I was out for the night and had copied the qualifying, but this morning was greeted with cancellation.
FP2 times are it, by the looks.
We have been lucky with Estoril, can be a wet and windy place. G

I think the grid positions are allocated according to the combined practice times.

Pedrosa will be a bit pissed off, on row 4 IIR. If it's wet they should all have some sort of settings. Like Rossi said though, if it's fine setup will be like tossing a coin since they haven't had any dry practice.

Maybe they should have wet practice at every round? I really enjoyed both Moto2 and MotoGP. Really shook things up. Gutted for Simoncelli and good to see JLo really stuff it to Rossi... including trying to run his foot over :woohoo:

Carbon, your English pals doing the commentary give me a headache !
Rossi admitted he couldn't match Horhays pace,(gritting his teeth).
I wonder what 'Rolling Stoner" will have to say ?

That little Repsol guy in 125 has a lot of heart, been following him all year.
He's out by 17 points now, barring a major balls up, he should be champion.

When Stoner takes his hat off it'll be, "WE" didn't have it right, but "WE'RE still trying. G.

Yup Marquez is my favourite rider in the GPs! Lorenzo was when he was in the 125s and 250s but he has turned into a cock with his after race shit

Yup I agree, his success is feeding his ego big time. Funny how Rossi comes across as funny & seems to make some kind of point with his antics, without it being a attention grabbing stunt.
But in saying that, credit given where credits due...

Well that was pretty exciting. Another talented Spanish midget... there must be some kind of breeding program underway over there.

From the way he was able to go from last to fifth in the run up to the first corner... doesn't seem to be a level playing field... but he's certainly a racer.

Na Lorenzo has ALWAYS been a cock! That boy can ride though! Marquez is showing some true champion qualities this year - he deserves the 125 crown no doubt. The rider I support is Spies. Just a straight up no nonsense guy - the closest thing to a kiwi in that field....

That there is,Alberto Puig started the Telefonica Juniors in 1999.He handpicked 25 young hopefuls out of thousands of applications and went National racing on 125 GP bikes supplied by Aprilia.

Pedrosa 15 & Toni Elias 18 at the time (wonder what they're doing these days) were among the 3 he personally took GP racing for his team...the rest is history.

Success breeds success.

Yeah, I reckon Lorenzo's a tool. But you have to accept that this is how it is:

http://www.superbikeplanet.com/2010/Nov/101102smilingsete.htm

Back to Portugal. A master at psychological warfare and with the talent and technique to back it up, Rossi led Estoril with Lorenzo shadowing him. How would Rossi react if Lorenzo attempted to pass? The Italian began to stick his leg out as he braked into the corners, trying to break Lorenzo's concentration.

And just like that it was over.

Lorenzo passed Rossi and after he relinquished the lead it seemed as if Rossi were suddenly dragging a church piano behind him. Lorenzo put in crushingly fast laps until he had a nine second advantage, and Rossi never answered. After the race, Rossi, now assuredly humbled, said, "I had no way to fight with him. I tried to stay with him but he was too fast."

It wasn't the first time this season that Rossi could only watch powerless as Lorenzo streaked away in the distance, but never before did it seem so obvious.

They have sometimes annoyed the Hell out of me.

I thought the commentary during that rain interrupted 125 race at Estoril was informative though. At least one of the commentary team knew what was going on. Just as well, because I didn't until they told me.
