2 of the poxy things. Wired and old fashioned.
Look - these things cost me a fortune back in the day and are unspeakable piles of crap... I've only kept them cos I was too embarassed to admit how much I paid for so little result. They 'sort' of work but frankly, even if they did I'm so deadly dull Vicki doesnt want to talk to me anyway and I've got fuck all to say when I'm riding so they are free to a good home... or even a not very good one come to that.
Take the pile of shit away.... Will drop into wellie

Bwahaha, hell no. If I had an Intercommy type thing, regardless of how shitty, I'd have to listen to my pillions screaming blue bloody murder everytime the front tyre parted company with the road. That sort of shit's terribly off putting......

Tell me about it....
The worst thing the the adjustment you need to make so the VOX isnt triggered by the wind noise. ie you can enjoy the radio and the noise drops off when 1 or the other talks but it can get triggered by the wind so you have an adjustment - simple right?
So - imaging trying to explain this to a pillion who is not that great with electronics in the first place and who didnt really listen to the instructions beforehand as it was just boy talk... All done while riding at 100kph plus on a very noisey Moto Guzzi and she is trying to explain she needs to go wees into an intercom that no longer works because se adjusted the thingy and I cant reach the knobs and... gah!
It was the closest we ever came to 'words'....
However - it is clear evidence the things work and why they sit unused! after a fashion. Communications are now via a more physical code (ie she hits me)

Sounds more like you need the tried and true cup and string communication system Paul.

Bump bump bump!
I managed to score these intercoms off Paul...yes a little fiddly but the price was right! As luck would have it, finally once the girlfriend gets all the gear and is starting to enjoy riding pillion, we're heading overseas.
Did get a few good rides in though. I would say they're not nearly as shitty as Paul would suggest - just don't use the radio! They made trips with the gf much better. No more '3 jabs to pull over' rubbish.
So if anyone here wants it - it's yours. I'd prefer someone in Wellington so I don't have to package it up and post it.
Let me know.

Can you elaborate on what they are? Are they for bike to bike or rider to pillion? Ta :)

Rider to pillion - wired.
Good on ya for putting them on the goodwill roundabout... thats the spirit!

Yep, as Paul says, it is a wired rider-to-rider intercom system. An earpiece each, and microphones that clip on to the helmet. Central hub unit thingy with big volume up/down button for pressing with gloves on.
