Go on, pick the outcome of the game.
Me think the AB will not bring out all their cards and keep some tricks up their sleeves for the Lions game. So it maybe a close game. Dont forget Fiji had a close game against the Maoris.
38-21 to the ABs :Punk:

I'll just be glad if it's a good game. Anything better than Taranaki vs Lions would be excellent.

Usually one hour before TV3.
I should dress up my English Bulldog in a AB shirt and parade him into an English Pub. :Punk:

Heh in that case I think I'm gonna head up to the uni so I can watch it on the projector at the dorms.
should be a fairly open game, i reckon 63-12 to us of course. alot of guys playing for a place in the proper test team this is basically another trial.

um what was wrong with that game?? was a good old fashioned game with the lions showing their class at the end, taranaki did pretty well and made a mockery of the lions forward pack.

Keep in mind that I don't know much about rugby. All I saw of that game was a total dominance of trys for the Lions. I'm an ex-american remember? Rugby isn't exactly a popular sport over there so I didn't know a damn thing comming here. One thing for certain though, even a lousy game of rugby is better than "grid iron" anyday.:niceone:
And thanks Hitcher gives me time to warm up for it.
ok, but it still wasnt a bad game. also i wouldn't class 5 tries to 2 a complete dominance, tonite should be a complete dominance of tries by the ab's.
p.s. i'm a naki fanboy  (i guess u could tell that)

Heck its half time at the ABs are up ** to nil (just for you watching the delayed telecast). We were watching the Fijians do their training run this morning outside our office window in the Heritage hotel tennis courts (I can see the whole court from my seat - kicks ass), and they looked quite confident. All gone to pot now.
Tell you one thing, they are HUGE. Wouldn't want one any of them coming at me at speed.

91 nil. I'm not sure that that tells us much, if anything, about the relative strengths and abilities of either the All Blacks or Fiji.

Man I wish I had sky :\ But on 3's coverage I'm noting a very very average game. Good thing the Lions are worse than the ab's eh?

Was certainly an interesting game. Even I could tell the kicking was shite. Not just the conversions either. Isn't the point of kicking it down the field either to have one of your teammates runnout there and get it or put it in touch? As for conversions, started out allright but then they started missing all but the very easiest shots.
Anyway that Viviafoko or whatever his name is (Fijian guy playing for the AB, whinger I think his position is. Looks a bit like Joe Rocofoko or however it's spelt) gonna be fun watchin him this season.

Bit of a waste of time really, and yeah the goalkicking is again of concern. Not such a great warm up game for the Lions series.

In my opinion it was a fantastic game to watch. The ABs are looking good. This is there first game and they seem to jell together very well. Some technical coordination by the mid field ensure that the AB scored plenty of tries. :niceone:

Mate - it was crap. Didn't tell us ANYTHING about the ABs at all.
You might as well have put them up agains Upper Hutt Under 6 Panthers.
At least my boys would have put up a bit of a fight.
As for the Maoris/Lions Game tonight. Now THAT was a game.

You're right there, wonder if waylander thought that was good enough, probably thought it was too one sided or something.
Bring on the test matches. Wellington game should be good, don't think the lions will be caught out two games in a row though, apparantly johnny is supposed to be playing.

Mind you I do like it when the All Blacks play - you can go out and have the restaurant, or any venue for that matter, entirely to us disinterested immigrants. just as long as there is no TV.
The roads are empty too.

Um isn't Rico Gear Canterbury based now??
As for Jono missing out, and for that matter Mart Holha, well who knows??
Rico is/was in the Crusaders, but hes assigned to Nelson Bays (which is part of Crusaders franchise), something to do with the transfer status why he couldnt transfer straight to Canterbury.
