2010s been the worst year of my life and what can I say, from today it's just keeps on getting worse.
I better win $5 million dollars or something if I want to even things out before the end of Dec!
Rant over, share yours and carry on.

Well it's fairly uninteresting without a description of what's going wrong.

Just a pile of mishaps, plus a pile more.
Today I just got a letter about my scholarship for next year saying "unqualified."
I can almost predict whats gonna happen next year too!
No wonder why people do drugs, eh?
P.S. Oh yeah, I wanted that scholarship so bad since last year. Oh better luck next year!

Sounds like minor character building stuff to me. Of course one can only imply that because you haven't posted any bad stuff that's happened to you yet.

Life is going to be a long hard journey for you if you keep that attitude! :crybaby:
Attitude is a state of mind, when it's gets a bit flat you have to pump it up, only you can do that!
Would you plan a ride on your bike when the tyres are flat?
No you would pump them up and get on with it, enjoy your ride! :ride:

What he said - fucken awesome - great new job, stunning new house on the Ohiwa Harbour - bought a boat ...
Took the 1250 to Taumaranui for lunch on Sunday ...
Mate - I remember those days - in the mid-70s I got booted out of Canterbury Uni - had to ask nicely to get back in, and had to work in a sawmill to support me and the wife while I studied part time to gain full re-admission ... life was shit at that age ...
It just gets better ...

Hey! I survived! That's gotta be a good thing, right? :sunny: Okay, I might have spent the last six months in a body brace with no job, unable to ride or drive and pretty much house-bound on some grunty painkillers, but this too will pass....

Misery loves company, fortunately I boot misery out to the cold porch! Doesn't sound like you to go complaining EJ ... so as the saying goes, accentuate the positive, eliminate the negative and don't be Mr in-between!
Just wait till when things really hit rock bottom and you find yourself wishing you only had your current spate of problems!
Remember, there are people out there right now who wish they would rather be in your shoes, rather than theirs!
Now in the best of KB traditions ... HTFU! :msn-wink:
Now go and sit down, write out a list of goals you want to accomplish and start working towards it! (time to get a part time job methinks now?)

2010 was a total crap of the year for me and now I'm at the point where I just think roll on 2011 and I am going to make it the best I can. What happened with scholarship? Perhaps there are some on here who can help you with application?

Hey mate... yep things can get pretty crappy at times. 2010 has been the most challenging year for me ever too, and all that know me also know I haven't coped as well as I should have. But......
It's amazing what a full change in attitude can do for your both short term, and long term. What we go through shapes us all as people, and I know for a fact that I am a better and stronger person for going through each hurdle as they came up. Life is too short to dwell on things that could have been or things that aren't. To get through, take one day at a time - not the whole big picture all at once. Tackle each obstacle with a positive perspective and you'll be AMAZED at how you can turn a few things around. I have learned all of this the wrong way, by first approaching it all from the other direction. It got me no where quickly. With the help of some wonderful friends, and a loving family, they all convinced me to change my attitude and look at it with fresh perspective.
Now - I've never been so excited about my future!!! We only have one life, and damn it can be a good one.
With the scholarship - try again next year, and work harder, come from a different angle and you just never know! Go on - you can do it :woohoo:

Losing friends, still somewhat poor, rarely get more than 5 hours sleep and always feel down.
This led to some issues that now requires a long sleeved shirt.
Trying to lose my love handles now though in attempts to better like the man in the mirror, I figured my limit was knocking on the 100kg door.
I guess I still have my bikes and my stereos.
EDIT: Dat post time!

My 2010 has been exactly what I have made it. I've screwed up a bit, lost my licence during the early stages of the year (get it back on the 10th), but, I see that anything that has gone wrong has pretty much due to me being a slack or dumb ferk.
'Tis what you make it, keep your chin high, battle on and get what you want.
I now have another bike and am looking for a nice new job in another area.
Plus my wife looks at me in the eye, things are getting better

My man, you know where abouts of cars don't you? Tomorrow I decided to buy a 1:24 Gallardo from Fazzaz Motors. Another to my collection. Hey every man needs a hobby right?
Besides, since I got the savings to spend (was for the oversea scholarship) cause now I'm not going overseas anymore, ROLL ON CHRISTMAS!

Come on I did enough posting. Share you guys' 2010 so far.
After working the same job for 7 years was made redundant. Desperately looked for a new job over 2 months and nothing. Had to take the first thing that came along. Part-time work cleaning toilets and emptying sanitary bins 3 days a week. barely enough money to live on. Still applying for anything and everything. I will be lucky if I get 1 interview per 10 jobs applied for. Even then, I havent had any calls back again.
Be grateful for what you have..... not what you don't.
